Baby's, Birthday's, & 10 Year Reunion!

As soon as we returned from the beach, we have had many things to celebrate!

My sister, Leslie, announced to our family back in May that she and her husband Chris were expecting BABY GASTON December 5th!

They knew they wanted to find out what Baby G was going to be and so they started to plan their gender reveal party for Sunday, July 13th! IT'S A GIRL!!

Leslie had cute ideas for the party and we could not have been more excited seeing pink balloons fly into the air! I cannot wait to meet her and also know that my sister will be one heck of a Mom and Chris possibly the BEST Dad.

Christmas will be fun this year! I have already bought her many many things :)

This past Friday was Brock Hill's 50th Birthday Party! We celebrate Brock at the Lunch Bunch in Alexander City and all of the Hill girls along with my sweet friend Brittany McCants did a wonderful job celebrating him! Food, decor, music, wine and a celebration makes for a fun-filled night! Happy Birthday Brock!

Saturday night was my 10 YEAR REUNION. WHAT! So hard to believe. We had so much fun and our class President, Beth Meadows, did a great job putting everything together. The event was held at Ballard Farms in Alexander City. The space is great for large parties, weddings, etc.. and fit our crowd perfectly. There was plenty of room for dancing ;) Which is what we do best.

It was so great to see everyone and also realize that everyone is almost the exact same as they were 10 years ago. We may all look a little different, but our class is so close that it almost seemed I had just hung out with them yesterday. I have a big heart for the
Class of 04 BRHS Wildcats!

Then on Sunday, July 20th, I turned the big 28! It may sound depressing to you, but besides eating lunch with my family then driving back to Auburn in the rain, I didn't do ANYTHING and I loved it ;) Came home at 4:30, got in my JJ's, on the couch with my man…all is well.

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. They always mean more than you know.

Headed to 30A on Thursday for my girl Lindsay Curry's Bachelorette Party! We already have lots of stuff to share!! Stay tuned...

xoxo,

July 4th Trip to Watercolor

For the past 7 years, the Letts family has celebrated July 4th no place other than 30A! Every year we look forward to spending the week together in Watercolor and love that every year we get a new house! In my opinion, this years house was one of the best!

Check out the living room! Andrew's niece laughed at me and told me I acted like I had won the lottery. Every room I walked in, I was like "Oh My Guah!" Not only was it beautiful, but for 10 people that open space was great! The sofa was perfect seating and the chairs were gorgeous.

This was the upstairs space for the kiddos! They loved it and their TV was the biggest one I have ever seen.

This was the kitchen. Perfect for us.

And here is our room!! Say Wha? A King bed and a wrap around porch? Belly dive on the bed.

Okay. Enough about that. Here is where we were everyday from noon til we felt it was time to go. We felt so lucky to have such cooperative weather this year since last year it decided to rain EVERY day. :)

Nicole Letts and I found ourselves falling in love with bloody mary's with Hendricks gin most mornings. Delicious. Nicole referred to them as our "snacks." She also gave me the perfect cup for my morning mary's. Thank you, Nicole!

We had something really big to celebrate this year! Preston and Kyla are expecting a baby boy in January so we decided to shower with them love! The baby got such cute things and we loved having dinner at our beautiful dining room table! We cannot wait to meet Baby Boy!

This hunk cooked dinner for everyone one night. He was busy busy grilling but I was able to get a snapshot with him and his master skills. It was delicious!

While we were all cooking, Haley enjoyed breaking it down to "Boom, Clap!" We decided that was our song for the Summer.

Here are some other photos of the week! We enjoyed Red Bar, Seaside, and fireworks on the beach!
What a wonderful 4th of July.

Stay tuned for next week :) I have lots to share!

MAY MADNESS

The month of May has clearly flown by for me, but not a month to forget!

Our friends Annie Loar & Jake Shirey had a beautiful engagement party up in Fort Payne, Alabama. Mothers Day weekend turned out to be a wonderful weekend and great weather (DONE with the rain) AND our little maltese Donnie (aka Don Don) turned 5!

May is also a month where we have a lot of close friends celebrating anniversaries and birthdays! I personally think the month of May MAY be one of the best months out of the year. What's your favorite month?

Here is our group from Annie and Jake's Engagement Party. It was so fun to meet some new people and enjoy Fort Payne which is so beautiful. WHY did I not know this??

Andrew had a blast fishing with the boys and ended up catching some pretty big bass! A lot of the girls were on the Equestrian team at Auburn and had a day of riding horses! They were all so fun! It was perfect weather for outdoor activities!

Here's my date and I at the party that evening.

We had an awesome house that Annie and Jake booked for us that looked over the mountains in Fort Payne which ended up being the party house and us girls stayed up all night doing a replay of college years!! AND it was one for the books. ;)

Good times with these girls!

Me with the Bride-to-Be!

I think its absolutely great to hear that everyone thinks that their Mom is the BEST Mom in the world. I will join. I love my Mom and love that there is a weekend where all we do is celebrate them. We spent Mother's Day on Lake Martin and Donnie also celebrated his birthday by swimming like a lab, riding in the boat (LOVES IT), and paddle boarding with Andrew.

Donnie got a new beaver toy and treats from Target for his birthday. He tore them out of the bag when I got in the car..

Well there is our MAY 2014 in a nutshell! Congratulations to all my teacher friends for your Summer off..hopefully! Well Deserved.

June post coming soon!!

 Thank you for reading.

April Recap: Is it seriously May?

I almost had a slight panic attack just now realizing that #1 it is 2014 and #2 May 1st is tomorrow. It has been an absolute wonderful year so far…including the entire month of APRIL! I had the opportunity this month to be a part of a beautiful baby shower for our friend Leslie Tatum as well as host a party at our home the next weekend for the soon-to-be Mrs. Gowland and THEN we celebrated the BIG 3-0 for our friend Wesley Hill!

I would not change this last month for anything and I hope that times like these never go away...

Here are some photos of our friend Leslie's baby shower for Baby Bliss! Our friends Caroline and Will Starr have an absolutely beautiful renovated home here in Auburn and it was the perfect setting for all the girls to gather to celebrate Leslie & Bliss. Erin Norrell and Hollie Hill did EVERYTHING for decoration and  their tasteful style was absolutely stunning when all together in Caroline's home. I feel so lucky to have such talented friends.

                  The Hostesses with the Momma-to-be!

We love Lez!

We also got to love on Baby Joseph while he was in town! Such a sweet sweet baby.

Here are some pics from the shower we had for our friends Lindsay & Stephen! We had so much fun and really enjoyed meeting Stephen's family & friends!

Kaley Wallace's Mom whipped up all the flower arrangements in about an hour. They were so beautiful. Super Mom Award goes to Denise Segars!

We ordered all of the food and cake from right here in Auburn at Gourmet Tiger! Never a disappointment.

    We love our Slinzcat!

Hollie Hill did such an AHMAZING job on her hubs surprise birthday party last weekend. We ate dinner and got drinks at Big Sky in downtown Buckhead and then hopped on a party bus for the next few hours listening to awesome music and dancing nonstop! (Master P and JT were involved.)

 Such a fun night!

All the boys… HAPPY 30TH WESLEY!

Stay tuned next week for a for sure rockstar weekend to celebrate our friends Annie & Jake!!

Thx for reading.
